The new hall of the Alcan Packaging Company was built in a new industrial zone in Novy Bydzov.The reason for the construction of a new factory was that the existing premises did not comply with up- to- date standards for production of packaging in the food industry. The new factory is established for the production and printing of high quality materials by gravure printing. Alcan Packaging Food Europe, which is part of the world-wide operations of the Alcan Packaging company,ranks among the main suppliers of packaging in the European food and drinks market. It has 128 factories in 31 countries on five continents and employs 30,000 people.
