Reconstruction and extension of the Jicin Hospital took place in several phases. The project included complete reconstruction of the surgical and internal medicine pavilion, new construction of an inpatient Anesthesiology/Resuscitation facility and connecting corridors between individual pavilions. The reconstructed internal medicine pavilion also includes a newly-built intensive care unit.
