The new facility forms an extension of the existing hall M2, which has been expanded by a production and hall part in its northwest section and by offices and laboratory in the northeast direction (the built-up area of the new and refurbished hall totalling 32,000 m2). The envelope of the hall, whose character is purely industrial, is made of metal panels with glazing in aluminium frames and additional steel structures of half-span roofs and emergency staircases. The layout of the hall is resolved taking into account the limits and requirements of the production process and operation with the possibility of combining different production arrangements.
